General Information

JSM-Hosting is a reseller for the website hosting company hostforweb.com.
Your website will be hosted on a fast and reliable Red Hat™ Linux, dual Pentium™ server.

You will have full access to your own Control Panel, at "http://www.yourdomain.ext/cpanel".
On its user-friendly interface, you will be able to easily:

• Setup as many email accounts as you like.
• Add email forwarders, auto-responders, chat rooms...
• Read you email from the web or with programs such as Outlook.
• Create databases, cgi-scripts, multiple ftp accounts...
• Change passwords, view comprehensive readership statistics, add sub-domains, create multiple domains, and much more...

Here is basic technical information you will need to use your JSM-Hosting account:

• How to initially setup your account: Parameters, DNS, FTP, E-mail, E-mail authentication and cPanel.
• How to setup your Outlook mail.
• How to access your webmail.
• How to modify your domain name parameters if your registrar is GANDI.
• How to customize your 404 error page.
• How to set-up a Dreamweaver website.
• How to crypt email addresses on your websites.
• Untill March 2015, our accounts could accept FrontPage extensions. Since Microsoft is not supporting it anymore, you may wish to convert your website from FrontPage to Dreamweaver - which can be done rather easily, if you follow our instructions.
